Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed , On call rotations
GM Rioux is a family business located in Grand Falls, NB, which has been in the trucking industry for over 40 years. The owner of its entire fleet, GM Rioux maintains and repairs more than 300 pieces of equipment to keep them safe and in perfect condition.
GM Rioux has an immediate in person job opening for a logistic coordinator. Pay based on experience. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the supply chain process to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers. You will play a key role in optimizing logistics operations and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
- Manage and optimize order fulfillment processes
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely sourcing of materials
- Oversee shipping and receiving activities
- Implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency
- Collaborate with 3PL providers to streamline freight operations
- Handle e-commerce logistics and support online order processing
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipments
- 2-5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and transportation
- Proven experience with shipping and receiving processes, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Experience working with vendors, managing materials, and coordinating procurement processes
- Familiarity with transportation and warehouse management practices
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field
- Knowledge of materials management and procurement processes
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory management practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Ability to identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and external partners
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment procedures
- Customer-focused attitude with attention to service delivery and satisfaction
- Adaptability to changes in technology, systems, or processes
