We have a responsibility to our drivers and their families, our customers and their customers and the thousands of people we share the highways with. We take that responsibility seriously and have processes in place to minimize the risk in every aspect of our operation.
Our fleet is renewed every five years. At any given time, a high percentage of our fleet is under 2 years old. We have an 8-bay maintenance shop on site and a strict preventative schedule for all equipment. Because our fleet tends to run shorter hauls we can inspect them on a more regular basis.
We have been fortunate to have industry-leading low turnover with our driving staff and many go back decades with us. They are highly skilled and go through regular training and re-certification as required.
Our dispatch team is able to communicate directly with our drivers and confirm their location through GPS positioning. If there is an unforeseen problem on the road that could delay delivery we can react quickly and communicate with our customers proactively.
Because everyone at gmrioux is working to a common goal, we have an excellent CVOR rating from the Ministry of Transport and an on-time performance record second to none.
